This season, the purpose in your heart should be to forgive.
Please carefully look at these two scriptures:
1. He that says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now 1 John 2:9
2. Don’t ever say, “I’ll get you for that!” Wait for God; He’ll settle the score” Proverbs 20:22 (The Message Bible)
Get ready to remove every trace of unforgiveness from your heart.
A Heavy Load
Not forgiving someone for past wrongs is heavy weight that is designed to hinder your upward mobility. God will not lift you up when you are heavy with this. Ask God to touch your heart now and allow Him to delete every unforgiveness. Reject every unnecessary load placed in your heart through any form of bitterness. It is not worth it. It is unnecessary excess baggage that will cost you dearly. I pray to God to set you free in Jesus mighty Name, Amen.
I can compare unforgiveness to slow poison. It has killed many people without them knowing it. It causes resentment, hinders your walk with God, shuts the door of the kingdom of God against you and kills you slowly. If there is anything you should detest most in your life, it is unforgiveness. Ask God to search you and create in you a clean heart and remove every trace of unforgiveness in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Joseph, Stephen and Jesus
You may say, Brother Chester is just writing, he does not know what my family has done to me. Or you may be saying that he does not know what my spouse did to me, or you may even say, he does not know what they did to me at work! Yes, I do not know…but God knows. You see, Joseph was thrown into a pit by his brothers then sold as a slave. Later he was falsely accused and put in prison. But God vindicated him and when his brothers finally came to meet him, he forgave them. Stephen was stoned to death. Can you just imagine stone after stone being hurled at him until he died. But the Bible says that before he died he said, “Father, do not lay this charge against them.” What about our savior, Jesus Christ, who ate from the same plate with the one that was to betray Him and was crucified by the same people He came to save but while enduring the pain He still said “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.”
God has so much in store for you, so do not let the enemy’s trap block or hinder your blessings. Examine yourself and cast out every unforgiveness. I call on the blood of Jesus to cleanse you of all unforgiveness in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. I declare you free from the spirit of unforgiveness. He whom the Son sets free is free indeed and this day you are free in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Walk in forgiveness,
God bless you.
