Face it a woman’s purse is an extension of herself. It is the part of her that helps her to control every situation that may arrive. This is why many women prefer large totes. They are roomy and allow a woman to have everything needed for any occasion, at her fingertips. This can include the practical items like the check book she may only use at the supermarket or that charm bracelet she no longer wears, yet still feels like it has lucky powers. Since these purses are big and roomy, they can easily become disorganized. When this occurs, the woman may suddenly feel like she is losing control and definitely makes it harder to find things quickly. This is why all women need a strategy to help them keep their purses neat, no matter what their size.
Purchase Many Different Types of Interior Bags
The best way to organize your purse is by using what may be known as interior bags. This can include makeup bags, small zip pouches for change, medium sized zipped pouches, leather books that close shut with snaps, and travel tissue holders. These should be bought in a variety of colors and texture patterns that can be easily distinguished from the other in your purse.
Protect Your Electronics
Every large purse will have one or two electronic gadget stuck into it. This may be a phone or a tablet. These should be protected by a case. These items can easily be scratched or worse in our purses. For this reason, all phones and tablets should be stored in a protective sleeve or case of some sort. All accessories, for these gadgets should also be kept in its own case. Items such as earphones and charger cords should also be wrapped up in an elastic band or hair elastic to keep them from becoming tangled. Of course, if you have an outside pocket on the purse, you may want to consider storing your phone in that pocket, for easy access, as well. The only down side storing your phone in the outside pocket is that it is also easy access for thieves.
Watch Open Lipsticks And Pens
The worse thing women can do is allow pens and lipsticks to stray within their purses. Both of these can easily open and smear within the purse. Of course, ink from a pen can ruin many purses, especially cloth ones. Lipstick can also make quite a mess, not to mention that it is hard to find a good shade of lipstick and nobody wants to waste one when they do find it. These are some of the reasons why we need to place our pens and lipsticks back into their protective cases, once we are done using them.
It takes a lot of time and practice keep our purses organized. However, it is nice to know that we can find any item we want in our purse, even in a hurry.
