Arizona Cardinals Stadium Lofts are a VIP seating area within University of Phoenix Stadium. Stadium Lofts are the equivalent of private suites found at other sports venues. With upscale amenities and private use of an indoor space, the seating area is targeted at corporate clientele.
During a recent business trip to Phoenix, I had the opportunity to sit in a Stadium Loft thanks to a business associate. Having been to University of Phoenix Stadium several times before, I knew what to expect upon entering the facility. But the entrance to the private VIP sections is far different than the normal entrance for fans in non-premium seats.
Cardinals Stadium Lofts are built on their own exclusive loft floor and are on the 300 level of the building. The official University of Phoenix Stadium seating chart shows the Stadium Lofts just above the more common club seats on the 200 level. Individual loft location around the level is determined by specific pricing and availability.
NFL fans who hold a Stadium Loft ticket are treated to a game experience that is unsurpassed in University of Phoenix Stadium. Not only are the lofts designed for an air of exclusivity, but they also offer a list of benefits including: full access to the semi-private lounges on game day, four parking passes including a VIP space next to the stadium entrance, club and loft gate entrance, restroom inside the private loft space, complimentary programs and player cards, and the option to purchase catered food and beverage packages.
For the game I attended, my host had arranged for a finger food and dessert package with additional premium cocktails. The menu changes throughout the season as the Cardinals try to provide variety for repeat fans. As expected, both the food and beverages were top-notch and befitting the ambiance of the upscale seating.
Since Stadium Lofts are sold for single or multi-year contracts, buyers also get once-per-season benefits like: four pre-game field access passes, special team-hosted lunch, tickets to attend training camp, and the ability to buy additional loft-level tickets for other concerts and sporting events during the year.
Individual Stadium Lofts surround the entire field other than the area above both end zones occupied by video boards. As the lofts closer to the 50-yard lines provide much better viewing angles, they are far more likely to be leased for the duration of a season than lofts further in the corners of the building.
The Cardinals do offer lofts for individual game rental when they are not sold out. However fans are rarely able to buy single tickets for the Stadium Lofts for individual games. On rare occasion, buyers might be able to see existing loft ticket holders selling tickets on the secondary marketing. But sitting in the loft for a Cardinals NFL game is generally only possible for fans who can afford the cost of an entire loft.
