(Ocala) Andrea Carr has always been interested in the paranormal. After she moved to Ocala, Florida, it was suggested to her that, because of her interest in the paranormal, she might like to take aura pictures. In 2012, Aura Emanations Photography of Ocala was born.
When asked, what is an aura and what is aura photography? Andrea explained. “The aura is the energy that is around a person. It’s also known as ‘The Fingerprint of God’ and the aura is also protection.”
“Aura photography is a visual image of the energy field that surrounds a person, place or thing. It can, through color, show how a person is functioning or the colors can represent a person’s personality type.”
The method used to read an aura is biofeedback. Hand sensors are used to measure the temperature, humidity and static electricity in the environment and the person. The data that is picked up is then projected as a colored aura field surrounding the body on either a Polaroid picture, computer monitor or television screen. The biofeedback sensors pick up a person’s spiritual energy. The camera or video displays the information as a color field around the body and reflects the person’s spiritual and auric state. A color picture or computer printout can then be presented to the subject of the photograph. At that time, the colors are interpreted in the photo. Each color has a meaning. Each person’s Aura is unique, just like a fingerprint, but, unlike a fingerprint, the Aura can change depending on the person’s mood or environment.
Andrea goes on to explain. “Many people come to have their Aura photo done seeking validation that a loved one who has passed is still around them. There are others who have their photo done because they are ill, have gone through treatments and want to see if there is a positive change in their Aura. A person’s spiritual energy may not always stay the same. Depending on a person’s experiences or their views on life, it could change many times. Some may seldom if ever do.”
When asked if she had ever encountered a skeptic, she replied, “Only one time. A man came in to have his Aura photographed and the whole picture was covered in red. He didn’t believe it. The color red in the photo could have meant that he had a dynamic personality or it could have meant that he had been angry before his picture was taken.”
Has Aura photography made an impact in her life? “Oh, it has, most definitely.” It’s very helpful in understanding the body. I’m still learning. It’s an ongoing learning process.”
