Pens tend to gather in my purse and home from different sources. I have pens that I have no idea where they came from, but can I ever find a pen when I need one? I try and have at least two in my purse at all times, but I never can find one quickly, so I end up sticking another one in — only to clean out my purse and find 15 pens! My favorite pen is the Bic Roller Fine Pen as it always writes, even upside down! Don’t ask me how I know that. Seriously, when writing on a label on the underside of items, this is the pen I choose as it works well!
The Bic Roller Fine Pen comes in different colors, but mine has black ink. It is gray with the brand stamped on it. It comes with a cap that can be placed on the end so you don’t lose it while you are writing. Listen for the snap when you place the cap back on the pen, so you know it is closed all the way and won’t come off. Unlike markers, this pen will not dry up if the cap is left off. It does have a black sturdy plastic pocket clip.
Over the years, my handwriting has declined rapidly. I remember making curlicues and writing all fancy as a teen. The hump on my middle finger can attest to the amount of writing I did in high school and college! I was proud of my handwriting, but laziness kicked in and now I am lucky that anyone can read my scrawl. Thank goodness for being able to type out letters and print them off!
With this pen, I again feel like my writing is pretty. It feels so good to write with it that I find myself doodling cute little designs! Holding it and writing with it comes effortlessly. No shaking to get the ink down even when it is running low; this pen is always ready to go! No missing spaces while I write; I never have to go back over anything…this pen is a wonder! The ink is dark and true black at all times The ink looks so rich that I will touch it sometimes to make sure it is not wet…it never is! I can’t smudge it and I have tried before placing my letter into an envelope. The Bic Roller Fine Pen is comfortable to hold and use.
One wonderful aspect of this type of pen is that it will write just about anywhere. Want to jot down notes on a napkin? This will work without tearing the napkin! Try that with other pens! Most types of paper will work fine too. Of course, any kind of plastic may smear though! Also there is no odor of any kind to the ink as some permanent markers have.
The Bic Roller Fine Pen is not refillable but lasts months at a time. With the readiness of a marker, but not the thick point of a marker, this pen can’t be beat! I found mine in a three-pack for $5.00, but with back to school sales, you can probably find it cheaper than that. The grip does not slip in my hand and I find it comfortable to write for long periods with it. So for school or work, it is a great pen to choose. Sure the pen does not look as elegant as some, but neither is the price tag! A functional well-working pen that is always ready to go!
