The most important question asked when moving to a new place is “What can I do here?” This is especially the case when it comes to military members who move every couple of years. I often get asked that question about Biloxi, Mississippi. Luckily there is plenty of nightlife here on the coast of Mississippi. One of the highlights to nightlife in Biloxi is the casinos. In this article I am going to cover the top 10 attractions in Biloxi’s nightlife.
Coming in at number one is the Beau Rivage’s most popular spot, the Coast Nightclub. The Coast offers live music four nights a week and is always packed full of people. This nightclub boasts a large dance floor with seated VIP section and a large stage for live music. The Coast offers a Wednesday and Thursday Ladies Night. The Coast offers a wide variety of party music for all walks of life. The number two spot is held by the seasonal Detox bar at the Hard Rock Casino. Detox is located at the pool in the Hard Rock, which is why it is seasonal. The Detox is open on Sunday’s during daylight hours. This is a great place to meet people because everyone is drinking and is also in swimwear. It’s just one big pool party with drinks and a DJ.
The number three spot is held by The Ledge in the Hard Rock Casino. The Ledge is a smaller VIP type dance club. It only has the capacity to hold around 250 guests. It is located above the dance floor in a loft type area. You might stand in line for hours to get into the Ledge unless you know someone who works there, but once you get in, you won’t want to leave. The number four spot is held by Margaritaville’s Landshark Landing. Landshark Landing is located behind the casino on a small beach. It offers a boat landing so guests can arrive by boat and never leave the beach. This oasis is a hotspot during warm weather. Landshark Landing offers food, drinks, cocktails, and live music. Of course there is dancing; Jimmy Buffet owns the place!
The Road House at the Hard Rock comes in at number five. The Road House is a very large nightclub offering a style of music that often is hard to find in a night club- country music. This isn’t all they play; they also play the typical music that can be heard in any other nightclub. The number six spot is held by the Chill Ultra Lounge in the IP Casino. The best part about this location is that the live music is played by a variety of local bands. It isn’t very often that you can go to such an upscale place and be entertained by local bands.
Number seven is the Eight75 bar and lounge, which was recently named one of America’s Top 100 hotspots. This luxurious bar is often filled with customers that tend to be a little older, just a heads up to the younger crowd. Number eight is Adventures Pub & Spirits. This is a small local bar where you can kick your feet up and play pool. Number nine is Shaggy’s on Biloxi’s Beach Blvd. Even though this is a restaurant, they offer live music and drinks right on the beach. The final spot may not be number ten in the eyes of some but it made it’s way on the list for those who are interested. Just Us Lounge, which is a GTBT lounge is the only of its kind in the Biloxi area.
