Do you spend hundreds of dollars, even thousands, each year on smell-good perfume to get you through the day? Many people do, and I was one of those people. A common fear for folks is offending the people standing or sitting near us, so we make sure to wear a pleasant fragrance over any funky body odor that may seep out. The trouble is that the expensive fragrance we cover ourselves with may be just as offensive to some, especially if we apply fragrances too heavily or wear super-sweet fragrances.
Why not save some money and wow the people near you by just using a pleasant-smelling body wash when showering? That’s right. Body wash seems to be the new it fragrance, and the good news is that body wash won’t empty our wallets. Body wash simply delivers a clean-smelling, I-just-stepped-out-of-the-shower sensation. Here are a few good body washes that can get you going in the morning, will please the people next to you, and won’t cost you a fortune:
Suave Body Wash. Suave puts out Sweet Pea and Everlasting Sunshine for two great-smelling body washes. The fragrance doesn’t last as long as some, but the fragrance does stay for a bit. It’s quite easy to just pop a bottle in your bag and use the body wash to freshen up throughout the day. Freshening up with a body wash also helps renew the I-just-stepped-out-of-the-shower sensation. You’ll less likely smell as if you have expensive perfume over a sweaty body. The price is right, too. A bottle costs about $5 at a local Wal-Mart.
Bath and Body Works Body Wash. Bath and Body Works puts out some of the most sensual and most lasting (in terms of fragrance) for body washes. Try Black Currant Vanilla for a good night’s rest or for a calming feeling in a chaotic atmosphere. The quality carries a larger price tag than Suave, but it’s worth the money, especially if you catch the body wash on sale. Closely watch the storefront locations and the online location for heavy-duty sales. A person can often get the body wash for half price (and sometimes with free shipping). The good news is that Bath and Body Works also offers body oil and body lotion in the same fragrance as the body wash.
Caswell-Massey. This online store sells a divine-smelling Sandalwood Foaming Bath Gel. The bath gel will calm your nerves as you head out to work or will easily help you sleep right after showering. The heavenly smell comes with a price, however. One bottle costs about $18 (shipping not included), but the bottle lasts quite awhile. Also, the fragrance wears off rather quickly, so you may want to also invest in some Sandalwood lotion for layering. The downside to this body wash is that it is rarely on sale.
