Is the fight to defeat bullies come to getting down to their level? According to Wicked Local Maynard published today, “After claiming that his daughter Sam, 9, was bullied out of school and called a liar, Charlie Sheen has posted “a legitimate call to arms” on Twitter, asking his fans to send “a rotted egg, a roll of toilet paper or some dog sh-” to the school “with extreme prejudice.”
The second question is Charlie Sheen for real? This man can’t possibly think that doing this teenage prank is a real solution against bullying. Or is it all for publicity? I have been bullied, my son was bullied and so many people that I know have been bullied. We all dealt with the issue by informing the school who then did something about it.
One time however, the principal did not take the situation seriously. My son was six-year-old and he was bullied on the school bus. He came home with a bullied mouth. I called the principal who told me I had to have the name of his aggressor. My son didn’t know his name; it was a student in the 6th grade. So when the principal would not address the issue, I wrote letters to the school board and I threatened to call in the youth squad. The student was found in a matter of minutes and was handed a three day suspension. He never bothered my son again.
Charlie Sheen wrote, “We will not tolerate this level of abhorrent disrespect towards the child of your favorite Warlock,” And if you’re feeling the ‘show and tell’ of it all, smear the shit to spell one name on the front door; VICTORIA. Eat that loser. C hash tag HYLMN?”
He will not tolerate this disrespect, but it is okay to disrespect the school, the education system and just about every American value? The comment just did not make sense. The child’s school is not happy with his comment either they said they did not like to be in the media that way. I don’t blame them. Sheen goes off on a rant about anything. I certainly would not like to ever have to deal with him. I honestly think he has a mental disorder, over and above his drug induced fits of mania.
However over the years all Sheen seems to know how to do is rant and rave. He even had an hour special on UStream TV where he ranted for an hour.
Mail Online goes on to say, “he slammed Dr. Drew Pinsky, a world famous addictions specialist who has said the actor may be manic and bi-polar. The 45-year-old actor briefly mentioned his on-going battle with Warner Bros over payments for the remaining episodes of “Two and a Half Men,” which were cancelled following Sheen’s rant about the show’s creator Chuck Lorre – in which he called him a charlatan.”
I have to agree with Dr. Drew Pinsky, as a therapist I have often wondered if Charles was bi-polar. In either case, he is a very troubled man. I wish Charlie would get the help he needs and be free of his demons.
The topic of bullying is very serious; however, Charlie’s reaction to the situation is questionable.
