The Endorse and Ibotta Coupon Apps are perfect for bargain shoppers that don’t cut coupons or for those that want to stack coupons. Both coupon apps have their advantages and can even be used together for maximum savings. Saving money just became as easy as snapping a photo of your store receipt. No coupons needed!
The Endorse coupon app reimburses a percentage of select items, some are name band other offers are good for ANY brand. Some offers can be upgraded to 100% cash back by sharing the items on Facebook. Once a purchase is made, all you have to do is submit a photo of the receipt. It takes about 24 hours to receive the reimbursement and you may cash out at any time.
There are approximately 10 offers, updated every Thursday with new offers. Offers are on name brand items as well as offers on ANY brand. Endorse does set limits to how much you can receive back. Example: 100% back on ANY band of diapers, up to $5.00.
Another unique aspect of the Endorse coupon app is you can upload receipts without claiming an offer. You get 5 points for every uploaded receipt and once 50 points is collected, you receive $5 to help local schools.
Instead of earning a percentage back of the purchase price, a set amount is reimbursed with the Ibotta coupon app. This works well when pairing up with manufacturer’s coupons and store sales. When you claim an offer on Ibotta, you have to watch a video and/or take a poll. Once you fill the requirements, you can then redeem the reward by taking a photo of the receipt and scanning the purchased product. When you reach a minimum of $5, you can cash out via Paypal.
You can “like” or “dislike” products on Ibotta by hitting the thumbs up or thumbs down button. If you “dislike” an item it will be removed from the available offers. Over time, the app will tailor coupons to your “likes” and “dislikes”.
Ibotta does offer a clear description of the item, but it does not offer the expiration date. When items are expiring soon, you will see an “expiring soon” tab over the item from the home screen.
After a few weeks of using both coupons apps, I find myself liking Endorse better. I’ve saved a total of $9.51 with Endorse and a total of $2.00 with Ibotta. I have also already donated $5 with the Endorse coupon app to a local school for book funding. I find that the Endorse app is tailored to my way of shopping and I find the savings greater since it is a percentage, sometimes up to 50% or 100% reimbursement.
As I mentioned above, you can use both the apps on one purchase for maximum savings. Example: Colgate Optic White tooth paste on sale for $2.99, get $1.00 back in register rewards from store, get $1.00 back from Ibotta and get 10% back ($0.35) from Endorse. Final price: $0.64.
Test them out for yourself and watch the savings pile up.
