When you walk into the Destination Restaurant, the flowers attract your attention while the soft glow of the lights on the pink furniture provides an attractive setting.

Breakfast is always a time to get together.
Usually you are only offered muffins and doughnuts for breakfast. The La Quinta Inn (LAX) invites guests to their Destinations Restaurant for complimentary all-you-can-eat hot and cold buffet.
There’s one long table as well as two smaller tables filled with food. They include everything you would want for a full breakfast or to make choices suitable for your diet.
The Destinations Restaurant is also open to the public with a three-page menu that introduces you to the appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, salads and dinners.
At Destinations, all of their portions are large; you will not be hungry after eating.
Healthy dining is important at Destinations, most of their meals are grilled, a healthier alternative to frying.
You can choose from seven tasty sandwiches.
They buy quality Angus beef for their eight ounce hamburgers and it shows with every juicy bite.
The cook perks up the steak sandwich with red and green bell peppers, onions and Monterey Jack cheese.
There is a Monterey breast of chicken sandwich marinated then topped with Monterey Jack cheese, onions, sautéed tomatoes and pickles.
An Italian selection, the Primavera chicken was a surprise. The breast of chicken was plump and all the sautéed tomatoes, mushrooms, bell peppers and red onions filled the plate.
All of these extras make each dish special!
A healthy selection, the grilled eight ounce Atlantic salmon topped with fresh dill and Chardonnay butter.
For the meat lover, the tender ten-ounce New York steak is topped with melted Burgundy garlic and herb butter.
The cob salad could become a meal with its turkey, bacon, tomatoes, hard cooked egg, avocado and blue cheese crumbles.
The traditional Caesars salad has crispy romaine lettuce tossed with creamy Caesar dressing, croutons and parmesan cheese. Add grilled chicken or salmon for an added cost to the Caesars or house salad.
The menu has the classic bacon, lettuce and tomato (BLT), a sandwich you don’t usually see at restaurants.
You can also choose from nine toppings and build your own pizza on a 12″ crust.
Destinations Restaurant has more than 6,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space divided into four large rooms which hold up to 500 people.
Their motto says, “Wake up on the bright side.”
Monday-Friday, from 11 am to 10 pm.
Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 10 pm.
The Destinations Lounge is open from noon to 11 pm with a bar and tables around a television set.
