Discreet and Creative Ways to Make a Bathroom Fragrant

by fat vox

The bathroom is the one room that could use air freshener more than any other space in the home, but not all options are decorative. Some are ugly, expensive and do not work for long. Forget about buying gels that quickly dry up and evaporate, and do not rely on sprays. Use discreet and creative ways to make your lavatory fragrant, and stop wasting money on other options. Some are completely hidden, and others are part of the decorating scheme. All of them work exceptionally well to keep it smelling fresh and clean.

Dot the Inside of Tissue Paper Rolls with Essential Oil

Essential oil is one of the most versatile fragrant products available. It can be used in countless ways to add fragrance to the home. Instead of buying scented tissue paper rollers, make the cardboard tubes fragrant instead. Before replacing the old one, dot the inside of a new one with essential oil. It is available in just about every scent imaginable. Consider something soft such as baby powder, musk or vanilla. If you prefer spicier scents, use cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice or nutmeg. Also, feel free to blend various oils to come up with your own fragrance. Store it with extra rolls of tissue paper, and keep your bathroom delightfully fragrant.

Fill a Vase with Fragrant Gel Balls

Fragrant gel balls in plastic labeled containers are available in stores, but they are expensive compared to other options. You can add scent to basic gel balls and save a considerable amount of money. They can be found online and in toy stores. Hydrate them as directed, and mix in several drops of essential oil in a fragrance of your choice. Display them in a decorative container. For something decorative and discreet, arrange faux flowers in the container. They will smell fabulous, and no one will know where the scent is coming from. When the fragrance dissipates or the gel balls begin to dry out, rehydrate them and add a few more drops of oil. They will last for months.

Use a Plug-In Wax Warmer with a Nightlight

Another discreet and creative way to make a bathroom fragrant will also light your way. Buy a plug-in wax warmer and scented squares. A single square is all that you will need to fill the bathroom with fragrance. Buy one that has a vented cover and it will look like a nightlight. Each wax square will work for weeks on end. When they no longer have an odor, do not throw them away. The article entitled Ways to Use Leftover Scentsy Candle Warmer Wax provides a number of ways to reuse them. They do not have to be Scentsy brand. They can all be refreshed and reused in creative and money-saving ways.
