Easter is on Sunday, March 31 this year, and many families will head from church services to Easter brunches and dinners that morning and afternoon. If you’re in the Buffalo, New York area, here are a few of the restaurants serving traditional Easter brunches and dinners.
Elma Towne Grille – celebrate Easter brunch at the Shriners Ismalia Banquet Center at 1600 Southwestern Blvd. in Orchard Park. For $13.99 (plus tax and gratuity) per person from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., feast on scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, Polish sausage, carved ham, pancakes, French toast, lazy pierogi, a large dessert table and more. Salvatore’s Italian Gardens – located at 6461 Transit Rd. in Depew, Salvatore’s will offer Easter brunch with the Easter Bunny from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost for brunch is $27 for adults and $17 for children 12 and under; reservations are suggested – call 716-683-7990.
Ramada and Embers Restaurant – located at 2402 N. Forest Rd. in Getzville, the Ramada will offer an Easter buffet in its Grand Ballroom with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Two seatings are available – 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; cost is $19.95 for adults, $10.95 for children 4 to 11 and free for children under 4; call 716-636-7500 for reservations. Embers Restaurant at the Ramada will offer Easter dinner from 2 to 8 p.m. as well.
Millennium Hotel – located at 2040 Walden Ave. in Cheektowaga, the Millennium will offer an Easter brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $19.95 for adults, $9.95 for children 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and under – call 716-206-835 for reservations.
Glen Iris Inn – located in Letchworth State Park in Castile, the Glen Iris Inn will offer Breakfast with the Easter Bunny featuring a breakfast buffet. Seatings are available from 8 to 10:30 a.m.; cost is $10.95 for adults and $5.95 for children – make reservations at 585-493-2622.
Holiday Inn – two locations – 4600 Genesee St. in Cheektowaga and 620 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo – will offer Easter brunch from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with breakfast items available until 2 p.m. The buffet will feature carved ham, chicken with apple brandy cream sauce, baked tilapia with pineapple salsa, a made-to-order omelet station, waffles, cheese blintzes and much more. Pane’s – located at 984 Payne Ave. in N. Tonawanda, Pane’s will offer an Easter dinner buffet from 2 to 8 p.m. Featured items include carved roast beef, ham and turkey, a pasta station, salads, specialty pizzas, chicken parmesan, Italian sausage and meatballs, homemade desserts and much more.
