You may have seen or been to events that may have cost you about $200.00 or better to join. When you buy your ticket and attend the event, you sit in awe of the magical moments that lies ahead at the event. You sit on the edge of your seat wanting more content, sitting more poised as you were when you first sat down. During the event, you take in the scenery, the lavish style that the event coordinator has put into the arena, to make the feeling of the event seem like you have entered into a glorious event of your lifetime. You look around at all the other attendees and noticed that they are just as much into what is going on in the event as you are. You take in the smell, feeling, the touch of the chair, the happy epitome that surrounds you as you get into the event. You start to think, “how can I pull something like this off to launch my event?” Imagine standing on stage and having your turn to talk to this audience. You want to be as great, or better in your big ticket event as the person who was before you.
The Five steps to find the money in your message; at your big ticket event.
Step number one is to claim your expertise. What is it that you are an expert in? Why do you want an audience to listen to what you have to say? Is it of value? You may be an expert at Kayaking, and you have the experience under your belt. You can start off your seminar by telling the audience stories about Kayaking down the Nile river, while being chased by crocodiles. Engaging the audience is a great way to start off. This will allow the audience to warm up to you and accept you.
Define what your big ticket program will be. What is the reason for hosting this big ticket event? What will be the outcome of this event? The people who are buying your big ticket program bought it because they expect the valued outcome of this event. By you defining what the program is about, it helps for the supporters of the cause to become really engaged to attend and support you.
Create a persuasive presentation. Don’t ramble on and on about unnecessary events or information that is not needed for your purpose. This will cause the supporters of your cause to become agitated and disappointed in buying a ticket from you. Your job is to show the audience as to why they are there to support you and what benefit that they will get out of the event. Always give more than what you get paid for. By you covering all topics in your presentation, while adding more value info, will cause the audience to be more satisfied with the results.
Market your persuasive presentation. One of the best ways to market your presentation is to give away free value. It may be a newly released book that you may have made, or a valuable CD or DVD seminar that is of high value, that you give out just for attending.
