Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), is situated in a thriving area that is full of interesting, travel-worthy locations for tourists to check out. Unfortunately, it is also a heavily congested place where traffic problems can really put time to waste, especially during the weekday’s rush hour in the morning and the evening. And so, it is ideal for international tourists on a budget to find a nearby hotel that can give them easier access to and from the airport.
Domestic Guesthouse Manila is a very practical choice for an inexpensive stay near NAIA without necessarily compromising quality when it comes to accommodation services and facilities.
Practicality and Quality
If price and quality are of equal or almost equal footing to you, often times, the most expensive and cheapest lodging options aren’t your best bets. Five-star hotels are clearly going to drain your pocket. Budget hostels and motels don’t always offer the convenience you may be looking for after a long, tiring flight. Finding an affordable choice with quality service, facilities and amenities will not only help you save money, it will also provide you that sense of security, peace of mind and quality experience.
This guesthouse boasts low-priced room options for those traveling alone, as a couple or as a group. You have the option for the cheapest rooms with common/shared bathroom (cleaned once every hour) or a little bit more expensive rooms with private bathrooms. Aside from having the basic hotel amenities for guests, it is equipped with CCTV surveillance cameras and it offers its clients free Internet access and complimentary distilled drinking water (hot and cold).
There are actually two branches of Domestic Guesthouse Manila. Both provide easy access to many of Manila’s tourist spots.
The main branch in Salem Complex is just across the Domestic Terminal. This makes it equidistant to the airport’s terminals. Take note that unlike with other international airports, NAIA terminals are separate from each other by more or less 2 miles. Different airport-related and non-airport-related structures and businesses are situated between these terminals. It is also worth noting that being very near the airport’s domestic hub becomes a top advantage when you’re coming from an international flight from Terminal 1, then you are supposed to fly again on another day to a beach or any other tourist destination outside Manila via a domestic flight.
The other branch called the NAIA branch is just beside Duty Free Philippines, which is a walking distance from Terminal 1. This makes it your best choice when you need a temporary place to stay before boarding a connecting flight to another international destination.
Both branches are near a variety of establishments. The main branch is a more ideal spot for leisure and dining as it is inside a big complex with several restaurants and some banking centers. There are a few restaurants that are open 24/7.
You can also request for airport pick-up when making a reservation, but you have to do this in advance. Otherwise, a taxi going to Domestic Guesthouse Manila won’t really cost you that much, especially when compared to going to other hotels that are both more expensive and farther from the airport, meaning higher fares to pay for.
