All of Hollywood took to Twitter on Wednesday night to mourn the loss of legendary actor James Gandolfini.
The 51-year-old was vacationing in Italy when he suddenly became ill and passed away; early reports suggest the cause of death was either a heart attack or a stroke. Just eight months ago, he and second wife Deborah Lin welcomed a child together, a daughter named Liliana Ruth. The couple wed in 2008; Gandolfini also had a 13-year-old son, Michael, from a previous marriage.
The acclaimed film and TV star is best known for his iconic portrayal of mobster Tony Soprano in the HBO drama “The Sopranos,” for which he won a Golden Globe. He also appeared in such films as “Killing Them Softly,” “The Man Who Wasn’t There,” and “8MM.”
