Markers, stickers, or other common craft items
If a woman puts a display up in her home it could be anything from China, to dolls, to a thimble collection. But for a man’s cave those things don’t exist. If you’re the guy setting up his man cave, you might want decorative things in the room, but they’ll likely be much different than those that a woman would display. A beer bottle display, for instance, would look great in a man cave. But you can’t just set beer bottles on a shelf; they all look alike. Instead, turn the bottles into “Welcome” messages, one-liners, or other designs, and the beer bottle display will be the perfect man cave decoration.
Brown beer bottles are especially nice for decorating. There are lots of different displays that you can create by using common crafting supplies. Don’t let the word “crafting” scare you off; just place stickers or tape on the bottles, or even write on them with markers. You’ll create cool signs, attention-getting displays, and more.
One easy design that you can craft with bottles is to simply line them up and write something across the line. With one letter on each bottle, you can write “Welcome”, “My Cave”, your name, or even the name of your favorite sports team. Paint markers are available in many colors so that you can give the bottles a look that you love. Write on the beer bottles with a gold marker, a white one, or another one. Keep in mind the dark color of the brown bottle when choosing the marker color(s).
It’s not at all hard to find team logo stickers and they look great on beer bottles. Peel and stick one on each bottle and line them up on a shelf or counter. Besides sports logos you can find stickers with dragons, cars, beautiful women, boats, motorcycles, and more. That makes it easy to turn a brown beer bottle into a decorative piece that you’ll love for your man cave.
Scrapbook paper and cloth offer many more options for turning beer bottles into decorative, man cave displays. Wrap the paper or cloth around the bottle – below the neck – and tape or otherwise secure it. Make a row of sports-theme bottles, featuring football, baseball, basketball, soccer, or others. Or, feature paper or cloth that has vehicles, outdoor themes, or others.
Knickknacks keep a room from looking empty and bare but they don’t necessarily have to be frilly or girly. You can create beer bottle displays and decorations, whether you have just one man cave room, or several. Finish that six pack; you’ve got decorating to do!
