I am going to share with you what I did to gain 20 pounds in 60 days in a simple, concise and straightforward manner. If you decide you want to do the same for yourself, you can achieve it in the same timeframe I have – 60 days!
I would like to think that I am a regular guy with my fair share of talents, but am no different from you. To be completely honest, lifting weights was not included in the many gifts and talents that God naturally graced me with.
As a man, I realize some of the benefits of having a muscular physique such as: better overall health, improved physical strength, endurance, enhanced appearance, increased self-esteem that can increase your chances of finding a mate, or something as simple as self-defense.
By the time I graduated high school in 1998 I was 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 160 pounds. Today, my height is still the same, but I now weigh 210 pounds. There was a time when my weight hit a plateau. It was during my service in the United States Navy. No matter what I did, I continued to weigh in at 190 pounds. If you’ve ever been in the same situation, you know it can be an extremely frustrating process. I’m here to share with you my way of breaking through the plateau to help you reach levels of strength and body weight you’ve never seen before.
My first attempt was visiting a nearby GNC. I tried a few products consistently for 60 days and I gained 20 pounds. Below are the supplements I used and if taken accurately, you too can have the same results.
I started with a seven day complete body cleansing program from GNC. You can find it at the following link http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2166844. In addition to the supplements, I worked out five days a week, taking two days off for rest, until I reached my goal of putting on 20 pounds.
There are two important steps that I followed for each workout. Step one, I used a pre-workout supplement called “Cellucor C4 Extreme.” You can find “C4 Extreme” by clicking on the link http://www.gnc.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=c4&origkw=c4&f=Taxonomy/GNC/13200328&sr=1. The main purpose of a pre-workout drink is to give you lots of energy and it allows your recovery from fatigue to happen faster. You can tell “C4” is working because as soon as you consume it, it gives you this warm tingly feeling all over your body. Please note that this has an exuberant amount of caffeine, so if you are not used to taking caffeine you will not be able to fall asleep during your normal sleeping cycle. As with any medication, supplement, etc. please consult a physician before taking.
As for my workout, there are a few simple rules that I followed that allowed my workouts to provide top-notch muscle growth. The first step was after my warm-ups, I immediately started listing the highest amount of weight I could lift for that particular exercise. Then, I kept increasing my weight. If I wasn’t able to lift it on my own, I would find a spotter. Secondly, I would lift the weight until I could no longer lift it anymore. Third, I drank lots of water and stretched briefly in between sets. I also focused on at least two body parts during each workout. For example, one day I would do chest and legs and another day, I may do back and arms. Immediately following my workout, I would take a GNC “Re- built mass” protein shake while I was at the gym. I would then go home and eat a protein-based meal such as a tuna fish sandwich or wo pieces of fish. You can find “Re-built mass by clicking on the link http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4396596. The last thing I would do to help my workout was consume a GNC 100% whey protein shake every day before I went to bed and first thing in the morning. This routine will have you taking a total of three protein shakes per day. You can find “GNC 100% whey protein” by copying and pasting the following link in your URL: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=13262316
Being consistent is the key to succeeding following this method and putting on 20 pounds in 60 days. You must work out and take your protein shakes whether you feel like it or not. If you have the mental fortitude to stay consistent for 60 days using this formula, you will have gained 20 pounds muscle mass.
