Cartoon fans around the world were probably celebrating on March 30th when Netflix added over 35 cartoons to their watch-instantly database. Here’s a look at some of the shows that are now available to be viewed online. If you plan to watch them then do it sooner rather than later because some of the shows will only be available for a few weeks before Netflix removes them.
Ed, Edd ‘n’ Eddy
Who remembers Ed, Edd, and Eddy, one of the most popular nineties cartoon characters? Well they are back! You can now watch two seasons of them trying to make money for their jawbreakers fund instantly!
Justice League Unlimited
Netflix added two seasons of the 2004 cartoon Justice League Unlimited. If you are a super-hero or comic book fan, this show is right up your alley. You can catch Lex Luthor, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman all in one show!
Power Puff Girls
Or maybe Blossoms, Buttercup, and Bubbles are more your type of super-hero? If that is the case, then have no fear, Netflix also added three seasons of the nineties cartoon Power Puff Girls. You can see the girls take on the Roach Coach, The Princess Girls, and the Broccoli Aliens.
Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends
It is no shock that Netflix listed this 2004 cartoon in the “imaginative” genre. You can follow Mac as he takes his imaginary friends to Madame Foster’s Home so they can embark on bizarre adventures with made-up creatures.
The Boondocks
If you are looking for more mature cartoons, you can check out Adult Swim’s controversial animated series The Boondocks. Huey and Riley find themselves under the care of their grandfather, and he moves them from urban Chicago to the suburbs, where they get themselves into one hilarious situation after another. This show is definitely not for children!
Chowder
Chowder is a hilarious chef-in-training, who has an issue with eating his masterpieces before they are finished. That’s not even the funny part though, Chowder is a “catbearrabbit,” a cat, a bear, and a rabbit all in one!
Cow and Chicken
Cow and Chicken is another great nineties cartoon. This cartoon showcases the adventures of Cow and her brother Chicken as they ironically open a meat café, work on a milk farm, and even find themselves in military school.
Dexter’s Laboratory
Two seasons of Dexter’s Laboratory is also now available to watch online. Dexter is an eight year old child genius, and his bedroom is full of computers, experiments, and bizarre machines. He also goes to war with his sister Deedee and the new kid at school Mandark, who has a laboratory twice as big as his.
