A Haunted House (2013)
Marlon Wayans and Essence Atkins play a couple that recently moved into a haunted house. Wayans hires a priest and Ghost-Busters team when his girlfriend becomes possessed by a demon. This raunchy comedy, mocking horror movies, can easily be compared to the Scary Movie saga. Cedric The Entertainer, Marlene Forte, and Dave Sheridan join the cast for eighty-six minutes of goofy, R-rated laughs.
Dragons: Riders Of Berk (2013)
Dreamworks brings you the sequel to the popular cartoon, How To Train Your Dragon. This exclusive DVD premier is based on the current cartoon show. Redbox has it listed as an hour and a half long, so it is unclear whether it is going to be an actual movie or few episodes of the cartoon series.
House Hunting (2013)
In this R-Rated horror film, two families move into a deserted farm-house and realize it is haunted, when they try to leave the house physically won’t let them. The demon in the house makes it clear that only one of the families is going to survive the haunting and be allowed to live in the house. The cast includes actors Art LaFleur, Marc Singer, and Hayley DuMond.
Steel Magnolias (2012)
Robert Harling, the playwright of the original 1989 film Steel Magnolias, dreamed of re-making the hit film with an all African American cast. Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott, and Alfre Woodard are a few of the stars that helped him make that dream a reality in this made-for-television movie.
Jack Reacher (2012, based on the book by Lee Child)
Tom Cruise plays a homicide investigator, Jack Reacher, who becomes invested in a case of a military sniper who shot five random victims. While trying to prove the sniper guilty, Reacher stumbles upon some interesting information and possibly a conspiracy. Cruise is accompanied by an all-star cast including Rosamund Pike, Richard Jennings, and David Oyelowo.
Hyde Park On Hudson
In what some reviewers considers one of Bill Murray’s best performances yet, he plays the role of the former United States president Franklin D. Roosevelt. FDR (Murray) is hosting a weekend at his family estate in upstate New York with the Royal Family, but his wife, mother, and mistress are all making it extremely difficult for him to cater to his British guests. The story is told through the eyes of his distant cousin and mistress, Daisy, who is played by Laura Linney. Other notable members of the cast include Samuel West, Elizabeth Marvel, Olivia Colman, and Olivia Williams as Murray’s wife Eleanor.
