Newlyweds are so sweet, aren’t they? They’re always close, smiling, kissing, holding hands; it’s very cute. Of course, when you’ve spent many years with that person – even if you’re still in love – the closeness can sometimes be missing or rare. But for now, if you’re a newlywed, enjoy the obvious love that you have for your partner. And, to represent your love, get a couple of feathers. You can turn them into an adorable wall arrangement that tells all of your visitors how much you love each other.

Twin feathers represent the two of you. You can find feathers at some craft stores but you can find a larger variety online. The type of feathers that you need are ones that are large, fairly stiff, and any color. The feathers can be near twins or one feather can be slightly larger than the other.

Use rubber stamps to stamp a phrase on each feather. You can write “I love you” on each feather, you could write “You and Me” on one feather, and “Forever” on the other. Write your names on one feather and the date that you were married on the other. There are lots of different writings that you can do on the feathers.

Stick the feathers to the wall where you want them. Double-sided tape works perfectly to affix the feathers to most any surface. Arrange them so that the quills touch each other but the tops of the feathers are apart. The arrangement looks something like a heart shape. Alternatively, you can stand the twin feathers up in a short vase.

With the feathers hanging, you can leave them like that, or you can carry the craft a bit further. Attach something that will cover the area where the quills of the feathers meet each other at the bottom. The object can be a ceramic, Native American piece, can be a silk flower, or can even be a steer head shape, cut from leather. If you want, cut a strip or two of sinew, slide beads onto it, and attach it under the ceramic or other covering piece.

In the bedroom, the feather love arrangement can be shared between just you and your mate. Elsewhere in the house, you can let visitors know how much you two love each other. Even though the twin feather craft is a cheap one, it produces a lovely keepsake of your love, and is just one of the many love arrangements that you could make to celebrate your marriage.
