This August, Whovians might be excited to learn that one of the most favored Doctor’s, David Tennant, is back with his own new series in “Broadchurch.” And he’s brought an old friend along; Arthur Darvill will co-star in the new drama on BBC America. Cosplay participants will be excited about a new behind the scenes series in “Cosworld.” Also, find out what can happen when men actually read the owner’s manual.

“Doctor Who” alumni David Tennant and Arthur Darvill star in this drama involving the murder of a young lad in a small British coastal town. Tennant plays Detective Inspector Alec Hardy, a strictly by-the-book investigator who is the newly appointed boss to the kindhearted Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller (Olivia Coleman). The two detectives partner up to try to solve the murder of the young boy, all the while trying to keep the local newspaper in check so the tourists are not scared away. “Broadchurch” also stars Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Will Mellor and Darvill as the town priest, Paul Coates.

In “Owner’s Manual,” Ed Sanders (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) and Marcus Hunt (HGTV’s Hammer Heads) take on a weekly challenge where they attempt to operate machines such as stunt planes, train engines and off-road race cars. One will read the book and the other will follow their gut instinct as they take on these powerful machines from two different perspectives.
