Man’s Separation From God
Since the fall of mankind due to the original Adam’s sin against God’s command given to him about not partaking of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, man has been destined to stumble through his life on earth in darkness.
In this secular world truth is shrouded by darkness and it is extremely difficult to find the correct path to living a righteous life. As a matter of fact, it is impossible for man to do this through his own efforts. During my travels thru this life I have found only one dependable source for the truth and that is the King James Bible.
God’s Word was valid when He dictated it to man many centuries ago and it is just as valid, relevant, and unchanging today as it was then.
One curious fact that I have observed about the bible is that it runs 180° contrary to what the secular worldviews as “normal.” God’s Word is “light”; this worldview is “darkness.” God is “good”; this worldview is “evil.” The attributes of both God and this secular world seem to follow this consistent pattern. Who are you going to believe?
The logical choice is clear to me and I will stand by my decision to the end.
A Man And A Mason
When God chose those to serve Him in earlier times, He normally selected His servants after they had matured to a certain degree for His purposes. Usually the period of maturity might range from 70 to100 years or more.
When I had reached the year of my 32nd birthday, my Stepfather, the Honorable Frederick H. Kinder, 33° decided it was time to introduce me to the Order of Freemasonry. I accepted the invitation and was made a Master Mason at Thomas Waller Lodge # 49 in Los Angeles, California after passing an inspection and investigation. After a brief period I was then elevated to Sublime Prince of The Royal Secret, 32° AASR Southern Jurisdiction and made a member of Santa Monica Consistory # 296 in Santa Monica, California. This occurred in 1976 and I have walked and conducted myself as a man and a Mason since that time without any regrets.
Those Who Talk Don’t Know, And Those Who Know Don’t Talk!
This saying definitely holds true for the Fraternal Order of Masonry. Unless a person has been duly initiated into this benevolent order, they have no real knowledge concerning any of the order’s true beliefs, business, activities or anything else concerning this discussion. To the nay Sayers I say, “Sit down and shut up!”
I do not feel that I have to justify my affiliation with this fraternal organization however I will share some of the paramount reasons that I hold true to the creed:
- The King James Bible is the cornerstone of our “blue lodge” and is referenced in rituals.
- Masonry is a benevolent organization based on Hope, Faith, Charity and Love for society.
- We adhere to the Judeo-Christian moral code that this country used in drafting our United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I hope that this article displaces some of the myths, rumors and down right lies perpetrated by the ignorant, those who are misinformed and the uninitiated.
