With hundreds of dogs becoming sick and dropping dead after eating tainted treats from overseas, pet owners are carefully reading labels and diligently searching for safe and nutritious alternatives. Some are making dehydrated meat snacks for their four-legged family members. Others are seeking safe goodies to satisfy their pet’s craving for something other than their usual food. Stop searching, and start buying the best budget jerky treats for your dog. They are made in the U.S.A., and they are my dog’s favorite snack.
Description of Woof Woof Wow! Baconz Dog Treats by Shep
Do not take a chance on budget jerky treats that are not made in the U.S.A. I have been feeding my 13-pound six year old shih-tzu Shep Woof Wow! Baconz for years, and they have never upset his sensitive stomach or made him the least bit sick. They are clearly labeled, Made in the U.S.A. He loves them, and I would not buy anything else, especially after the most recent undetermined poisonings. I use the treats as a reward and as a delicious, satisfying and healthy morning and midday snack.
The plastic six-ounce bag of Shep dog treats is primarily green. It is embellished by a gold banner with purple and white lettering. Each delicious strip is approximately three to four inches long. They contain a minimum of 16% protein and include real bacon. They look a bit different than actual bacon since they are molded into strips, but they smell just like the hickory smoked variety that I regularly prepare. They are not labeled as jerky, but they are just as good as or better than real jerky treats for dogs. If I were blindfolded and only allowed to sniff the contents of the bag, I would not realize that I was drooling over dog treats. They smell absolutely delicious!
The Cost of a Six-Ounce Zipper Bag of Baconz Jerky Treats
Shop the dog food aisle of your local name-brand grocery store, and you will find overpriced jerky treats from gourmet sweet potato to chicken. Even though the names and brands sound American, some are made in China and shipped to the U.S.A. No matter what kind or brand you buy, be sure to read the labels from top to bottom. Do not buy pet food or treats that are made in China no matter the price, store or brand.
A six-ounce bag of Shep Woof Woof Wow! Baconz dog treats is only $1.49. Six ounces might not sound like much, but it is just two ounces short of a half pound. The price is phenomenal, and they go a long way, especially when rewarding a smaller dog. They are easy to break apart, and they remain fresh in the convenient zipper bag. They are approximately 25 cents per ounce, and I have not found a better buy on budget jerky treats that are made in the U.S.A. I have not personally tried them, but according to my dog, they truly are the best.
Where to Buy the Best Budget Jerky Dog Treats
You can find Shep Woof Woof Wow! Baconz at Aldi. Visit the Aldi store locator to find your nearest source of the aforementioned treats for dogs. Even if you do not have a local Aldi store, it is worth the drive to obtain budget jerky treats that are made in the U.S.A. On the bottom of each bag you will find an expiration date, and Aldi stands behind their double guarantee. I would not buy anything else for my best friend, and you should not either.
