Intro: Learn how to identify the false prophet of biblical prophecy? The biblical prophets refer to him as the most evil religious leader ever to appear in human history. He will administrate the workings of the global pagan church system. Any person who opposes his religious system will be declared intolerant, xenophobic, a racist, a religious bigot, and an enemy of humanity. The False Prophet’s primary mission will be to cause the world to worship the Anti-Messiah. He will be a charismatic personality who will say that he is Elijah the prophet who is preparing the way for the coming of the real Messiah and he will execute counterfeit miracles to mimic Elijah’s work. He will declare that Satan’s Anti-Messiah as the real Messiah for world. He can be found in Revelation 13:11-14 where John the prophet makes it clear that the future Anti-Messiah will be supported by a magnetic spiritual leader known as the False Prophet. He is the man who helps to convince the world that the Anti-Messiah is worthy and deserving of worship, and ultimately it is he who enforces this worship on penalty of death.
Step 1: Study the prophetic book of Revelation. This book describes the origin and destiny of the False Prophet. Read the prophetic books written by biblical eschatologists such as Rev. Clarence Larkin, Bill Salus, Dr. John Mcternan, Hal Lindsey, Dr. Mark Hitchcock, Dr. Chuck Missler, Dr. Thomas Ice, Dr. Jack Van Impe, Perry Stone, Tom Horn, and the late great Dr. Grant Jeffrey. These prophecy scholars are filled with God’s Holy Spirit and they have written books that sketch the birth, rise, and destination of the Anti-Messiah. They are brilliant historians that connect the dots between secular history and biblical prophecy.
Step 2: Learn about the Satanic Trinity. The coming satanic trinity will include the great red dragon in Revelation 12, the first beast or Anti-Messiah in Revelation 13, and the second beast or the False Prophet in Revelation 13. Satan will cause the two beasts of prophecy to work together on earth to deceive all humanity and during their reign of terror, they will bring torment, destruction, and death upon the Earth’s inhabitants.
Step 3: Learn how the False Prophet will influence both political and religious authority. His mission is to prove that the Anti-Messiah is the real Messiah. He will be the leader of a one world pagan religious system, which will be funded by the economic system of the Anti-Messiah. He will claim that he is here to help the Anti-Messiah create peace, prosperity, and security for all humanity. He will transform the teachings of atheism, agnosticism, and secular humanism with a new form of anti-God paganism and he will bring peace between religion and science by the power of his counterfeit miracles.
Step 4: Learn that the False Prophet will be an ordinary man with extraordinary ability. The fact that the False Prophet (second beast) rises out of the Earth means that he’s an ordinary looking man. Bear in mind, in biblical prophetic imagery the sea always refers to the Gentile nations, while the Earth sometime refers to ordinary persons. The imagery for Earth here in Revelation 13:11-18 only refers to an ordinary human being with extraordinary demonic powers. His two horns indicate that he has the authority of a bogus prophetic witness, who testifies about the power of his famous partner, the Anti-Messiah, just as John the Baptist testified about the majesty of Messiah Yeshua. The Anti-Messiah will sound like the Gentile Christ of liberal Christian denominations, and He will perform miracles like the famous prophet Elijah of Israel, but his power will originate from Satan himself.
Step 5: Learn that Moses warned the people in Deuteronomy chapter 13 that a prophet must teach correctly about God. In other words, when a prophet successfully predicts the future, his teachings should never contradict the Holy Scriptures. His prophecy should never bring glory to himself, but every prophecy should bring glory to God and lead the people towards serving the true God. Moses warned his people again in Deuteronomy chapter 18 that the predictions of God’s prophet must always come to pass. In other words, a prophet of God must be 100 percent accurate every time he predicts events on the future. Thus, Satan’s False Prophet will fail the prophetic test of Deuteronomy 13 because all his prediction will be designed to glorify the Anti-Messiah and never the real Messiah. The False Prophet will fail the prophetic test of Deuteronomy 18 because his predictions will be 99 percent accurate, but will never reach 100 percent accuracy. The False Prophet’s predictions will never reach 100 percent in accuracy because he will predict that the Anti-Messiah’s kingdom will last for a thousand years, which contradicts all the prophetic teachings of the Holy Scriptures.
Step 6: Understand that many people will not recognize the False Prophet when he first appears on the world scene because the secular world laughs at biblical eschatology and their academics teach that it is Hebrew mythology. However, the identification of any false prophet can only be revealed through careful analysis of Scripture under the guidance of God the Holy Spirit. Many false prophets fail the biblical test of prophecy because many of these false teachers lead people from their Christian faith (Deuteronomy 13) and they are less than 100 percent accurate in their forecasting of future events (Deuteronomy 18).
Step 7: Study the False Prophet’s Characteristics. A summary of the characteristics of the false prophet reveals that he is a ordinary man with extraordinary capability because he arises out of the earth, which is probably representation of the ancient Mesopotamia region where human civilization and paganism were born (Revelation 13:11); he is prominent in spiritual associations (“two horns like a lamb” Revelation 13:11); he is inspired by Satan as is the first beast (Revelation 13:11); he has significant power (“the power of the first beast” Revelation 13:12); he promotes the worship of the first beast and forces people to worship him as the Messiah (Revelation 13:12); his false ministry appears justified by false signs and counterfeit miracles which he executes to prove that he is the prophet Elijah preparing the way for the Messiah to come (Revelation 13:13-14); he is successful in deceiving a Christ rejecting world (Revelation 13:14); he promotes an idolatrous worship of the Anti-Messiah (Revelation 13:14-15); he uses the power of death to force all of humanity to worship the beast (Revelation 13:15); he executes financial authority to control all commerce (Revelation 13:16-17); and he has a unique religious mark that probably resembles a cross, which he uses to establish his identity for those who live in that day (Revelation 13:18).
