Someday List, The Jubilant Soul Book #1 Book Review:
Congratulations to Author Stacy Hawkins Adam for writing such a wonderful inspiring Christian novel. It was a great joy and pleasure for me in reading this great book Someday List. This book will make you think about the way you should appreciate how great life have to offer. We want to make a list of the things that we want to accomplish before we leave this world to our eternal home. Stacy wants to show us in her anointed writing to teach her readers about taking a hard look about life through the characters of Rachelle, Gabe, Troy, Jillian, Aunt Ira, and Uncle Charles. They all have a journey that they must deal with in their personal life. The questions that Stacy asks her readers are the following. What do you want to accomplish in life? What are your main goals? These are the same questions that were asked by Rachelle’s childhood friend, Jillian who is now dying of cancer. Rachelle is dealing with obstacles that are going on in her life. She is the beautiful wife of a wealthy cardiac surgeon and mother of two wonderful children, to take a hard look at her own life. She isn’t happy and doesn’t like what she sees. Even though her husband Gabe is a good provider materially bit isn’t meeting her emotional needs. Her life is surrounded by a luxury of tennis games, manicures, workouts, parties and volunteering at the right places. While Gabe is in Uganda on a mission trip with his partner and her children are staying with her parents, she decided to visit her Aunt Ira and her Uncle Charles in the town that she went to College and runs into her first husband. Rachelle is battling with the consequences of living her life by other peoples standards instead of following her passion. Does she make a decision to return her former flame or stick with her current husband. You must read the book to find out. Rachelle and her husband Gabe seems to have everything; yet they both are very empty on the inside. Other people in their lives suggest to them that finding their way to Jesus Christ is the best answer for them to solve their problems. They both are having discussions with other people in their lives and are wondering if they can accept Christianity. This is an awesome Christian book that I really enjoyed. This book can help the readers find their own way to Jesus Christ.
The SOMEDAY LIST is an enchanting story. Stacy Hawkins Adams also shows us that just because we have superficial standards doesn’t mean that we are going to be happy through the character of Rachelle. From the early introduction the main characters develop and become real with each scene. The plot in The SOMEDAY LIST has several out of the ordinary twists and unexpected believable points. The settings and description balanced and crisp enabling the readers to tread into the world the characters possess. The conversation and character interaction present biblical principle and spark introspection. Stacy really reaches down into the soul of readers and challenge them to examine the life they have come to live and who they thought they would be. You know this is my first time reading a book by Stacy Hawkins Adams and I am looking forward to reading her next two books. I will definitely recommend this book to anyone who really enjoys a though provoking entertaining read. Stacy should really think about turning this book into a play or a movie. This is an inspirational and empowering story. Thanks for allowing God to guide your pen in writing this wonderful story.
