The Top 10 Fashion and Beauty Items that Are Worth Spending Your Money On

by fat vox

I have been into anything that is fashion and beauty since I was a little girl. I always experimented with all the latest trends. Some things worked for me, and some things didn’t fare as well. As time went on, I discovered what things I was going to stick with, and I’ve never regretted it. I compiled my list of the top 10 things that I feel is worth spending some good money on. The one thing I’ve learned is to never compromise when it comes to looking good.

  1. Foundation primer. This is one of the best things I’ve discovered. It softens your skin. It makes applying makeup so much easier. It also makes your makeup stay in place a lot longer.
  2. Laser hair removal. Although this is an expensive procedure, just imagine never having to stress out about shaving again. Imagine never having to buy a razor or shaving cream. Imagine never having razor bumps. This is worth your money.
  3. Eyelash curler. A lot of women skip this step when applying makeup because they don’t think it’s that important. It couldn’t be further from the truth. Curling your eyelashes makes your eyes come alive. It draws more attention to your face, and that’s always a good thing.
  4. BB cream. I discovered this gem of a product over a year ago. It does so much for your skin. It can be used as a foundation. It moisturizes, and it evens out your skin tone. A little bit of it goes a very long way.
  5. A bra that you’ve been properly measured for. I can’t stress enough how important this is. Most women are wearing the wrong size bra. Go to your local fine department store and get measured. Chances are you’ve been wearing the wrong size, which is probably the reason why you might be looking a little bit heavier. You will be amazed at the difference in your figure.
  6. Porcelain veneers. Nothing makes a difference to your face like having a beautiful smile. Porcelain veneers are expensive, but well worth the investment.
  7. Shoe insoles. Shoe insoles are the difference between striding across the room with the greatest of ease and limping to get to the nearest chair. When you buy a new pair of shoes, they rarely have good padding. Shoe insoles improve your arch, and makes walking so much better.
  8. A facial mask. I have been doing this on a weekly basis for years. It’s my treat to myself. If you didn’t get a good night’s sleep or if you have a headache, this is a great cure. After you rinse it off, you’ll feel like you can take on the world.
  9. Flatiron. I have discovered that you really do get what you pay for when purchasing one of these. If you want a good quality flatiron, you need to spend anywhere from $75 to $200. It will make your hair look so shiny and beautiful.
  10. A deep conditioning treatment. Our hair takes such a beating on a daily basis. We do everything from blow-drying to hot irons and coloring. One day a week, we need to treat our hair to a deep conditioning treatment. Your hair will thank you for it.
