Well, I am officially sickened and disgusted. Why, of course, Thomas’ Everything Bagels are full of calories and other bad stuff. It would have to be, I LOVE THEM. Ugh. I have never been a bagel eater actually, until a hotel offered bagels and cream cheese instead of my usual toast. That all started my love for these goodies. Before the hotel breakfast, I had never been around bagel eaters nor any place that served them. Maybe they were on the menu, but I saw toast and ordered my usual toast.
Since then, I have eaten a variety of different bagels and brands of them. I never clearly loved any of them. I liked them, but no flavor of bagel really stood out from the crowd until Thomas’ Everything Bagels. This bagel has it all. Since finding these them, I never looked back. I always buy Thomas’ Everything ones now.
When they became increasingly hard to find locally, I wrote a letter to the company asking what was going on. Why are my local stores rarely stocking them? They wrote back and said that the “everything” flavor is being discontinued for lack of interest. Well, sheesh. What am I? Chopped liver? Ever since writing the letter, I have found Thomas’ Everything Bagels always in stock at my local Walmart so maybe my letter did spur more shipments locally, at least until they run out of them. (Thomas’ Everything Bagels are not even listed on their product page.)
They taste like a just right bagel with just right seasonings. Pre-sliced goodness. These bagels have it all…from sunflower seeds to onions to poppy and sesame seeds. Everything that individual bagels have on them, these have all that. Everything is thrown in, but the kitchen sink! No taste overpowers another. It blends together for a uniform taste that is great! They are not too hard and not too soft and toast evenly in my toaster. Packed full of 12 grams of protein.
I have found Philadelphia cream cheese in garden vegetable to be the perfect topping for this bagel! Even regular non-flavored cream cheese goes well with it as all the taste in the bagel makes it yummy!
Recently Thomas’ Everything Bagels are coming In a more diet-friendly size: Bagel Thins. With the same great taste, but better for your waistline, the Bagel Thins are crispier than the regular ones.
Thomas’ Everything Bagels come in bags of six bagels with everything on them. Tons of different flavors blended together. They are very big, six inches across. One fills my hand up.
