Tyson Chandler was born in Hanford, California on October 2, 1982. Tyson Chandler never played college basketball, he went right from Dominguez High School in Compton, California to the NBA when he was taken with the second overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers.
