Aries: Page of Cups
The page of cups heralds a time of youthful love and joviality. This week you may feel incredibly connected with your lover and in tune with each other’s needs. You may find a message coming your way regarding love; with Mercury retrograde you may even find that a past lover comes back into the fray with a text, email or possibly even a phone call. Whatever the case this is a time to remember young love, first love; the way that you felt when you allowed the troubles of the world to fall away and just enjoy the feeling between you and your beloved. Feel free to allow your emotions to flow in a healthy way-conveying to loved ones how much you appreciate them and how much they mean to you. All too often life gets busy and we become distracted leaving the ones we care about curious how we feel. Take the time this week to fix that by letting those you love know they are treasured.
Taurus: The World
The world signifies completion, things coming full circle where one door can close and another can open. This week you may find that you are coming to your own sort of conclusion within your life. Perhaps you receive a promotion and leave behind your old title/job. Maybe a relationship is coming to an end or you are finally feeling capable of fully letting go of a relationship that you have struggled with. Whatever the case the sense with this card is that you will feel efforts that you have taken come to a head and you are seeing things come together so that you are able to move forward with no loose ends. Though we occasionally come across endings that are not necessarily desired the message of this card is one of hope and success. If something ends this week that you were not expecting take to heart that when one door closes another opens. You are ready for what comes next; trust in the Universe and your own inner strength.
Gemini: King of Wands, reversed
The king of wands reversed is going to impart a rather impulsive nature to the week ahead and with the Taurian moon getting us energized to solidify our foundations this could lead to a bit of trouble. The message of the week is to slow your roll and think before you speak/act! This is a very impulsive energy and while you may think you have a great idea now is the time for stepping back and thinking things over, planning and really making sure that you know things inside and out before executing anything. You may be a bit hasty and rash and end up making a decision that you regret later.
Cancer: King of Pentacles, reversed
Dear Cancer; if you listen to one thing this week listen to this: slow your roll, listen, do not just wait to speak and watch your pocket book. In this case Cancer-the king of pentacles reversed can lend a very dogmatic energy to the week ahead. You may think you know everything and you may not be very accepting to the thoughts, opinions and suggestions of others. Because Pentacles tend to govern our finances you may find that you are encountering issues within this realm with this card reversed and chances are it’s because of that rather obstinate attitude of yours. Rather than looking for quick fixes, look for long term solvency. Remember Mercury is retrograde so this is not the time for really implementing new methods of investing. Rather take a look at what you have been doing. What lessons do you need to learn about your relationship with money and research ways, gather information while Mercury is retrograding, on how you can improve your relationship with money.
Leo: 8 of wands, reversed
Your energy may be a bit frenetic this week, Leo, with the 8 of wands, reversed taking the lead this week. You could feel that plans you thought you had in motion, all inline just so, are beginning to fall apart, slow down or even completely become disorganized. Mercury retrograde could have its hand in this and its lesson is to always double and triple check everything-and prepare for potential delays and miscommunications which this card also can highlight. Make sure that rather than working yourself into frenzy while you try to bring everything back together, take a deep breath and see what you can make out of everything. Even if you have to reevaluate and reformulate your plan you can do it with a calm disposition rather than climbing the curtains. Watch for communication to reach a potentially fever pitch this week as well, Leo. Whether its communication coming your way or you frantically trying to communicate with another this card always tends to show up in my readings when there is a heightened level of emotion with regards to communication. Rather than sending 15 emails or texts or calling and leaving as many messages– be patient. Sending numerous messages will only irritate the person you wish to reach and increase your wait time.
Virgo: Queen of Swords, reversed
Someone is going to have a permanent case of attitude this week, Virgo! The queen of swords when reversed tends to denote a very cutting, emotionless and stoic attitude. This is not a very warm and fuzzy energy and the likelihood is that you will not hold back when sharing your thoughts or opinions. You may not feel very emotionally connected this week but please remember the feelings of the poor, unsuspecting people around you, Virgo. I’m not often one to suggest rounding the edges of your language but ultimately it’s not our place to wound with honesty but empower. Compassion doesn’t have to be lying or shading the truth but rather delivering in a way that it can be used to help the people around you not bring them down.
Libra: 5 of pentacles, reversed
The 5 of pentacles is never a very positive card and in fact it’s one of my least favorite. When reversed I often find, however, that the difficulties of the recent past are finally shifting and you are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. While some tend to see this as a time when issues get worse, I see it more as an opportunity for letting go, growth and moving forward. You may not necessarily be out of the woods just yet, but the impression that comes with this card is that you have learned valuable lessons, have begun coming out of the fog and are able to now see a path that moves you away from troubles, and distress and towards peace and stability.
Scorpio: Queen of Swords
This week you are going to be intellectually sharp as tact and capable of telling it as you see it. For those of you who have been reading through the rest of the scopes know that when I spoke of the queen of swords reversed for the Virgo tarotscope I made mention of her being emotionally disconnected and cutting. When upright it’s not about being emotionally detached, it’s about knowing when you need emotion and when you need to rely on intellect. Sometimes being emotionally connected is the way to navigate situations and sometimes you need to listen to your head, evaluate the facts and make a sound judgment call that is based on tangibles and not intuition or emotions. Anything you encounter this week should be handled as such.
Sagittarius: Ace of Pentacles
This is going to be a good week for you Sagittarius! The ace of pentacles is all about new ideas when it comes to money and new business ventures. Of course this is not always just about money you could come up with new ideas for how to handle issues within your life or ways of creating stability and foundation in your life. In the financial realm you may come up with new opportunities within your career or to start a new business. You may drum up ideas of how to bring a sense of a new start, a new beginning. This is often more or less about the ideas, the spark that lights the flame. With Mercury retrograding at this time as well this is not a good time for taking these ideas and turning them into action yet. This card and the astrological climate at present encourage you to instead research the ins and outs of your particular plan so that you have a solid foundation of information about how you can turn this idea into reality. Remember this card is all about new beginnings so use the energy of the weekly wisely.
Capricorn: 7 of wands, reversed
You may feel like throwing up your arms and saying “forget it” this week but I urge you to rethink things, Capricorn! Perhaps you took too much on and need to delegate some of your responsibilities. Maybe you are tired of all the obstacles that are in your path and just want to relish the sweet rewards of your efforts. Whatever the case remember that anything worth having is going to take time, effort and usually it’s just when we think we cannot take anymore that we must push forward! Part of feeling a sense of relief in your life is making sure that even when you have a heavy plate you are tending to the self. Yes, you may have mounting work that must be taken care of but there is always time for a 20 minute jog, hot bath or to sit in the coziest chair in your living room and sit in silence. Taking care of the self is how you will return to what this week entails with a renewed sense of purpose and vitality!
Aquarius: 5 of wands, reversed
This week the ego may take the wheel of life this week as you deal with petty disagreements where it’s not the common goal or good that motivates disagreements but rather a desire to be right, pride, and ego. This card is often about the differences of opinion’s between players involved in a common purpose, for example team members at a company, members of a house hold or members with in a group you belong in. When you have people working together it’s inevitable that the personalities and differences of opinion will sometimes rise to the surface but with this card reversed ego is at the core and people will not be working together, they will work against one another. It’s your job to be the intermediary and keep the bigger picture in mind. Help bring the different opinions together in a way that allows everyone to feel they have a say in things. Compromise will go a long way in turning around any petty disagreements that arise this week.
Pisces: 9 of cups, reversed
Well, I have good news for your week ahead, Pisces and bad news. The good news-the 9 of cups is one of those lovely cards of the tarot that no matter whether it’s upright or reversed it’s a positive card. This is often called the wish card of the tarot and it’s typically a sign that something you have worked hard for is en route. With this card reversed, however, it’s likely you may experience a delay in getting the sweet reward you have been working/wishing for. This is not about having to give up, the wish is going to be granted but you are being asked to put in a little extra effort or check to be sure that you didn’t cut corners in a rush to get to the end. If you did put pen to paper, so to speak and get back to work. If you have exhausted all the effort that you can then this card is a reminder that often before something is given to us we are given a period of reflection and peace-a sort of calm before the storm. This allows us to enjoy the things we have learned, the process we took and then prepare for the sweeping changes that come when we finally get our wish! Enjoy!
