Who God Says I AM

by fat vox

HE says to you:

You have always been precious and honored in my sight and I will always love you (Isaiah 43:4). I made you for myself so everyone will see my wonders through you (Isaiah 43:7). Your security, acceptance, power, protection and safety should come from me (Psalm 18:1-2). Your attempts to get them from man are futile and will only bring you pain (Jeremiah 17:5). Appearances, wealth, and riches consume you, but I have never cared for those things, I look only at your heart (1 Samuel 16:7). I want you to realize that I made you in an amazing and wonderful way (Psalm 139:14); I was with you when you were in your mother’s womb even before your parents knew who you would be (Psalm 139:15-16). I knew everything about you from the beginning. I knew how you would think, act, feel, even where you would go (Psalm 139:2-3). You, my perfect one, are unique (Song of Songs 6:9). You are all beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you (Song of Songs 4:7). I delight in your beauty (Psalm 45:11). No matter who accepts or rejects you, remember that I already claimed you as my spouse (Isaiah 54:5).

It is impossible for you to deceive me; it is contrary to who I am because I know the depths of your heart (Jeremiah 17:9). So it is okay to tell me anything, I will never be surprised by anything you do or have done (1 John 3:20). You never have to be afraid; I am always with you to help you (Isaiah 41:13-14). Call me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). I am the only one who can give you peace; peace that is beyond your understanding (Philippians 4:7). I care for you so much and I never want you to worry (Matthew 6:25-34), bring all your fears and worries to me (1 Peter 5:7). I think of you and bear your burdens everyday (Psalm 68:19). I look after you every hour, protecting you from evil (2 Thessalonians 3:3). My unfailing love for you will always remain the same (Isaiah 54:10). I have great plans for you to make you happy (Jeremiah 29:11). I determined all these things for you because I wanted us to always be together (Acts 17:26-27).

Even though Satan used to be here with me, he decided to go against me and lead the whole world astray including you (Revelations 12:7-9). But, I could not bear to be separated from you, this is why I sent my son, Jesus to save you (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). Because you turned away from Satan’s ways and chose to die with my son, I have given you a new life (Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-4) . I love you just because you love him (John 14:21). You are a new creation in him (2 Corinthians 5:17). You did not choose him, he chose you (John 15:16). How then do you think you can earn my love and the gift of salvation I give you? That will cancel out the finished work my son did on the cross (Romans 2:22-24). You need to remember that my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). My greatest desire is for you to love me with all your heart, your soul, and your strength (Matthew 22:37-38). I also want you to love other people as I loved you; this is how they would know that you belong to me (John 13:34-35).

You have no idea what I have prepared for you; nobody knows how marvelous it is (1 Corinthians 2:9). If everything under heaven belongs to me (Job 41:11), don’t you think I can do so much more? Forget about all the things that happened in the past, do not dwell on them, I am always doing new things for you, don’t you see them? (Isaiah 43:18-19). Remember that you are my heir and a co-heir with my son, Jesus. Since you share in his suffering, you will also share in his glory (Romans 8:17). I am longing for you to come back home, where you will not suffer anymore and I would personally wipe away every tear from your eyes (Rev 21:3-4).

While you are still on earth, I will give you singleness of heart and action, so that you will always want to worship me for your own good and the good of your children after you. I will make an everlasting promise to you: I will never stop doing good to you and I will inspire you to respect me, so that you will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing you good with all my heart and soul (Jeremiah 32:39-41). You bring me so much pleasure and I sing about you all the time (Zephaniah 3:17). Remember that I live in you (1 John 4:4), your body is my temple, my dwelling place (1 Corinthians 6:19). I am love! The only way you can know how to love is through me (1 John 4:16). Call on me if you need a friend (John 15:15). Call on me if you need a parent (John 1:12). Call on me if you need a spouse (Revelations 19:7). I will never leave your side (Deuteronomy 31:6). But wait… will you choose Me? (Deuteronomy 30:19)
