WWE Battleground
Did anyone like WWE Battleground at all? A lot of people didn’t like it. To be honest, I don’t order Pay-per-views and I probably will, but only WrestleMania (only if the match card is good). As I was saying, many people didn’t like WWE Battleground and after hearing about what happened, I would have not liked it either. It was mostly the ending that had everyone chanting, “Bull crap”.What did happen though on WWE Battleground?
The pre-show of WWE Battleground involved Dolph Zigger and Damien Sandow. Ziggler won that match but I think that match should have been on the card for Battleground, but sadly it wasn’t. Battleground kicks off and the first match is RVD vs Alberto Del Rio. The winner by submission is Alberto Del Rio. The next match is Real Americans vs Santino Marella and Great Khali. I heard this match wasn’t great, but the only part that was good was Cesaro doing the swinging pendulum on Khali. The winners were The Real Americans. The next match was for the Intercontinental Championship (Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth) The winner was Curtis Axel.
The match after include some Diva’s action. AJ Lee vs Brie Bella. AJ Lee wins that one. The next watch was the probably the best one to see. The Shield vs The Rhodes Family. After many weeks of firings for the Rhodes family, they can now win back their jobs, only if they beat The Shield. The winners of the match were Cody Rhodes and Goldust. Next match was Bray Wyatt and Kofi Kingston. Bray Wyatt wins that one. Next match was Ryback and CM Punk. CM Punk wins. Last but not least was Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan. While Orton and Daniel were fighting, Big Show’s music played. Show ran to the ring, grabbed the ref and yanked him out and KO Punched Bryan. Brad Maddox, who was standing on stage, sent referee Scott Armstrong. As Scott made a count, Big Show yanked him and KO’ed him. As Orton was cursing at Big Show, Show KO’ed him. That was it for WWE Battleground. Now you see why some people were mad.
WWE Raw – October 7. 2013
As for WWE Raw, I wouldn’t go much in depth with it, but I’ll just throw out the things that mattered. We had a rematch of The Real Americans vs Santino and Khali. Really boring if you ask me. The beginning was decent. Big Show was “fired” by Stephanie McMahon. CM Punk teamed up with R-Truth to face Ryback and Curtis Axel. Punk and R-Truth won that. WWE had a pole on the WWE App to see who would be Special Guest Referee for the Hell in A Cell PPV (Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton). The three options were: Booker T, Bob Backlund, and Shawn Michaels. You would think the obvious winner would be Shawn Michaels and it was. But the ending had everyone talking. The Shield were facing Goldust, Cody Rhodes, and Daniel Bryan with Triple H sitting at ring side. After The Shield wins, the start attacking Goldust. Big Show’s music plays and walks down the ramp. The Shield waits for Show as Triple H is in the ring behind The Shield. Show enters the ring and The Shield attacks. Big Shows fights back and sends the Shield to the ropes. Big Show and Triple H stare at each other and Seth Rollins comes in and hits Show’s knee. Show is down and The Shield are attacking a fallen Show. Triple H yells at The Shield to pick Show up and The Shield does, but Big Show flings The Shield out of the ring. Big Show and Triple H are two feet away and they stare at each other. Big Show KO’s Triple H and Triple H is out cold. Show leaves and Daniel Bryan stands over Triple H and yells, “Yes! Yes! Yes!”. That was the ending to Raw. Great ending.
WWE News
As many of you had heard, John Cena will be back October 27 at Hell In A Cell. I think its way to soon. The doctors and WWE said about 4-6 months and he needed that time off. Now, we see him face Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Champion. He didn’t even earn a shot and then he gets a chance. I think that’s bad for business. WWE has added CM Punk to a match at Hell In A Cell. The match will be CM Punk vs Ryback. Stipulation will probably be added to the match in the coming weeks. Apparently, Triple H suffered a concussion by the hands of the Big Show. Also Big Show could have an arrest warrant issued for criminal trespassing and assault. So tune in next week to see what happens. Here’s a little plug, but WWE’s Goldberg The Ultimate Collection DVD/Blu-Ray was released yesterday. I’m thinking about buying it. If you’re a Goldberg fan, then buy it.
